Influence of Bath pH values on the Structural and Optical Properties of Electrodeposited MgO Thin Films for Optoelectronic applications

چکیده
This paper investigates the influence of bath pH values on structural and optical properties magnesium oxide (MgO) thin films synthesized using electrodeposition technique. The were deposited conductive fluorine tin (FTO) substrates nitrate hexahydrate as a precursor material. structural, morphological electrodeposited examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction UV-Vis spectrophotometer. morphology found to vary with values. band gap decreased increased. MgO exhibited average transmittance 80%, 50%, 25% thicknesses 400 nm, 480 540 nm for 2.0, 5.0, 9.0, respectively. results obtained indicate that play significant role in formation can be used tune material into useful optoelectronic applications.
